The decision.

You’ve made a great decision to hire a videographer for your wedding. I’m sure you’ve watched plenty of wedding videos now and have developed an eye for what you want. And maybe what you don’t.

For some, making the financial decision is tough. But keep in mind, when a service is done right, the product pays for itself. If you are on the fence, when the day is over, you are the now the proud owner of a spouse, a new family, a frozen cake section (do people still do that?), a beautiful dress, and photos. Decades later, a video will bring back the expressive faces and sweet sounds that photos can’t.

The style.

The shooting style is cinematic and narrative driven, using short clips, appropriate music, and primary audio to weave together your special event. Delivery is in digital format, uploaded to a quality video site, and in Blu-ray format. To simplify the decision process — because you shouldn’t have to compare what you will and won’t get — we offer one package. You can customize the package in a way that meets your needs, timeline, and budget. We get it.

The day.

There is so much to capture from sun up to sun down. From the recently drained mimosa glass to your grandmother’s locket sitting on the bureau. We arrive early to orient ourselves with the surroundings, make introductions, and to establish exposition. We make sure to capture as many details as possible. To capture you. Your father. Everyone.

We capture the venue, church hall, city street, or woods in great detail. We capture the formals, first look, letter, and tears.

Please consider thomasancel to capture your day.
